Whether you are temporarily moving towns, renovating or just need a place to store extra furniture in your home or business, our warehouse offers you a safe haven for all your belongings. Our professionally managed facility is located along Mombasa road 1 KM from Nairobi Inland Deport (ICD) with approximately 5,750 square feet of space.
Our Storage Services have the following features;
Safe and Secure: The safety of the goods in our possession is of paramount importance to us and we have taken all the necessary precautions to guarantee this. The entire property is surrounded by high concrete perimeter walls and additionally, we have invested in the latest technology e.g. CCTV cameras that have back up to prevent interruptions due to power outages and set up alarms at all the access points.
Flexibility: We offer flexible contracts on both short and long term basis. Thanks to life’s dynamics we are flexible to change contracts from short-term to long-term and vice versa. In the event a client wishes to pick or have an item delivered from the warehouse, we plan accordingly to ensure access is granted and/or delivery is promptly done. This is however subject to a 24 hrs notice for planning purposes.
Delivery and Pick Up Services: We offer pick up and post storage delivery services. This includes but not limited to transporting your goods from the warehouse, delivery to a destination, unpacking and setting up and removal of moving debris.
Records: Our storage units’ manager is tasked with ensuring strict adherence to measures and procedures put in place and confirm proper records are kept for all the goods stored in our premises. Every item to be stored must be clearly labelled and packed to international warehousing standards and meet health and safety requirements. Our moving consultants will always explain this in a detailed way during the free pre-storage survey session.
Insurance: The Centric Moving Company is proud to offer storage insurance as part of our professional service for peace of mind and added protection on goods in our warehouse. We know that sometimes, there are sentimental items that need special attention, so we recommend taking up an individual itemized inventory, this will help us with our storage insurance claim if needed. We also advice our clients to insurance their goods for that extra protection.
Pest Control: The facility has good ventilation, is organized, well-kept and spacious. With these features, we can assure you your possessions are safe, even when you are not there! We conduct regular inspections of the premises. The secure storage units protect your goods from any form of damage. We fumigate periodically.
DISCLAIMER!
We are cautious of the items stored in our storage facility. As a result, there are some items that are prohibited from our warehouses. Extra measures must be taken for items considered highly flammable such as generators, gas cylinders e.g. generator(s) must be drained its/their diesel before being stored while all the gas cylinders must be empty.
